Svyaznoy-Euroset says launches delivery service between stores

MOSCOW, Oct 17 (PRIME) -- Merged retailer Svyaznoy-Euroset has launched Svyaznoy Express, a service to deliver small parcels across Russia for individuals, the company said on Wednesday in a statement.

Any client can leave an online application and bring a parcel to the nearest Svyaznoy-Euroset store, and the retailer will deliver it to the store convenient for a recipient.

“The new service already works in 1,000 stores of the retailer in 487 cities of Russia. Svyaznoy Express is an excellent option to send a present to a friend, important papers to a colleague, or a forgotten thing to a relative. The new service will help owners of small online stores to organize delivery of orders,” Vice President for sales David Borzilov said.

“Reliability is an important advantage: Svyaznoy respects all conditions of transportation and is ready to carry even the most fragile things. We plan to scale the project up to all 5,500 stores of our company.”

Parcels up to 10 kilograms can be delivered within a city or to any other region or city of the country.

Svyaznoy-Euroset is holding a campaign until November 11 for its buyers to send parcels for 1 ruble.
